Often when people are trying to lose weight they’re told to avoid not just eating lots of food, but also to avoid some food altogether. But what if instead of keeping track of things you shouldn’t eat, you focus on delicious food that you can eat without worrying about gaining weight. Fruits that have high amounts of vitamin C like lemons, oranges, and pineapples burn off body fat helping it get flushed out by the body more easily.

• Apples. Apples contain pectin that can has the two-fold effect of preventing the body from absorbing too much fat and causing the body to actually release fat. Pectin also happens to be an appetite suppressant that will keep you feeling satisfied for quite some time.

• Dairy products or foods high in calcium. These would include low-fat milk or yogurt and cheese. They help breakdown fat cells a lot faster and some dairy products contain high quality proteins that help in suppressing appetite.

• Raw nuts. Eating nuts will give you the fiber you need to satisfy your hunger pangs as well as giving you protein and Omega-3 fats that help burn fat quicker and produce more testosterone. Just make sure the nuts you eat are raw and organic, avoid salted and roasted nuts.

• Oats and oatmeal. Oatmeal has lots of fiber and that alone Is already very helpful in burning fat faster helping you lose weight. Oatmeal will also make you feel full so you can go on without feeling hungry while at the same time, it keeps your energy levels high. About an hour or two before going into a weight-loss workout, have some oatmeal. It will give you more than enough energy to let you work out more intensely thus increasing the amount of fat burned and weight lost. Avoid flavored oats in packets that might contain lots of sugar.
